The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board has announced the commencement of printing of notification slips for candidates scheduled to participate in the 2026 Mop-Up Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
In a statement issued by JAMB’s Public Communication Advisor, Fabian Benjamin, the Board said candidates can now access and print their examination notification slips ahead of the mop-up examination scheduled for June 13, 2026.
According to the Board, the notification slip contains essential information, including examination centres, dates, time schedules and other instructions required for the examination.
JAMB explained that the mop-up examination was arranged for candidates who were unable to participate in the main UTME due to technical issues, as well as those who experienced biometric verification challenges during the earlier exercise.
The Board said the examination is intended to provide eligible candidates with an opportunity to participate in the admission process.
Candidates scheduled for the examination have been advised to visit JAMB’s portal and print their notification slips to obtain details of their examination arrangements.
The Board also encouraged candidates to print their slips early and familiarize themselves with their examination centres before the examination date to facilitate smooth participation.
JAMB stated that the mop-up examination will serve as the final UTME exercise for the 2026 admission cycle.
“The Board wishes to emphasise that this Mop-Up Examination represents the final opportunity for eligible candidates to sit the 2026 UTME. No further examination will be conducted after this exercise,” the statement said.
The Board urged all affected candidates to make adequate preparations and take advantage of the opportunity provided.
JAMB reaffirmed its commitment to conducting a credible and transparent examination process while ensuring that eligible candidates have access to the admissions system.
