Osun Election: Tension as voters protest agents’ clustering at Ikire unit

There was tension at AUD Primary School, Atile, Ikire, in Irewole Local Government Area of Osun State on Saturday as some voters complained about the alleged clustering of party agents around the voting area.

Security personnel were seen intervening to calm the situation and ensure that the voting process was not disrupted.

An Accord Party agent, Ajayi Ayodele, accused agents of the All Progressives Congress (APC) of allegedly monitoring voters as they cast their ballots.

The allegation reportedly generated concern among some voters at the polling location, prompting security personnel to step in and restore calm.

Voting continued at the polling unit amid the intervention by security personnel. The claims could not be independently verified as of the time of filing this report.
