Grammy-winning Nigerian singer Wizkid will host an exclusive pre-release party for his upcoming album in Paris, France, on June 25 as anticipation builds around his next musical project.
The event, scheduled to take place at Cova Club Paris, is being organised in partnership with Deeds Paris Fashion Week (PFW).
According to an announcement shared on Deeds Magazine’s Instagram page, the exclusive gathering will be hosted by Sina Braetz, Grey93 and Rae.
The development comes days after Wizkid hinted at new music on social media, posting a brief message on X with the caption: “Album
.”
Although the singer has yet to reveal the title, release date or tracklist of the project, the Paris event is expected to offer fans and industry insiders an early taste of the highly anticipated album.
The forthcoming project will be Wizkid’s first major body of work since the release of ‘Morayo’ in November 2024. The album was dedicated to his late mother, Jane Dolapo Balogun, who passed away in August 2023.
Born Ayodeji Balogun, Wizkid rose to fame with his debut album ‘Superstar’ in 2011 and has since become one of Africa’s most successful music exports.
Over the years, he has released acclaimed projects including ‘Ayo’ (2014), ‘Sounds From The Other Side’ (2017), ‘Made In Lagos’ (2020) and ‘More Love, Less Ego’ (2022). His global hits and collaborations with artistes such as Tems, Burna Boy, H.E.R, Skepta, Damian Marley, Ella Mai and Terri have helped cement his place on the international music scene.
