Super Eagles striker Taiwo Awoniyi graduates from PFA Business School
Super Eagles striker Taiwo Awoniyi has added an academic achievement to his football career after graduating from the PFA Business School.
Awoniyi, who currently plays for Coventry City, graduated from the programme on Monday, earning a Diploma in Global Football Sport Directorship.
The achievement was announced by the Professional Footballers’ Association (PFA), which congratulated the Nigerian international on completing the programme.
“Congratulations on achieving your Diploma in Global Football Sport Directorship, Taiwo,” the PFA Business School said in a message celebrating his graduation.
The programme is designed to equip football professionals with knowledge and skills in football management, leadership and sporting directorship.
Awoniyi’s latest achievement highlights his preparation for life beyond playing football, as he continues to build expertise in the business and administrative side of the sport.
The 28-year-old forward has enjoyed a career across several clubs in Europe, including Liverpool, Union Berlin, Nottingham Forest and Coventry City.
