‘Patriotic leader’ – Defence minister hails APC National Chairman at 58

Minister of Defence, General Christopher Musa (retd), has extended his heartfelt congratulations and warmest best wishes to the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Professor Nentawe Yilwatda, on the momentous occasion of his 58th birthday.

In a congratulatory message, General Musa described Professor Yilwatda as a distinguished scholar, visionary administrator, and dedicated statesman whose commitment to democratic governance and national progress remains exemplary.

A statement by Leah Katung-Babatunde, Special Assistant (Media) to the Minister, made this known in Abuja on Saturday.

The Minister said, “On behalf of the leadership of the Ministry of Defence and the Armed Forces of Nigeria, I celebrate an exceptional patriotic leader, Professor Nentawe Yilwatda, as he marks his 58th birthday. His insightful leadership, integrity, and selfless service to our nation continue to inspire confidence and unity.”

General Musa noted that Professor Yilwatda’s leadership at the helm of the ruling party plays a vital role in fostering political stability and institutional harmony, which are critical pillars for strengthening national security and sustainable development.

The Minister prayed that Almighty God continues to bless the APC National Chairman with sound health, divine wisdom, courage, and long life to serve the party, the nation, and humanity for many more years.
