The Federal Government has announced plans to move to the next stage of its 2024/2025 paramilitary recruitment exercise, involving physical screening and document verification for shortlisted candidates.
A statement signed by the Secretary of the Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB), Maj. Gen. A. M. Jibril (retd), said applicants who participated in the online Computer-Based Test (CBT) conducted in November 2025 are to log on to the Board’s official recruitment portal, https://recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng, from Monday, June 15, to Saturday, June 20, 2026, to verify their status.
According to the statement, applicants are required to log in using the application number generated during their initial registration.
It explained that shortlisted applicants will be required to upload their credentials and select a date and venue of their choice for physical screening, while urging all applicants to carefully follow the instructions provided on the portal.
The Board emphasised that the recruitment process remains completely free, warning that no applicant should pay any fee to any individual, agent, group, or organisation claiming to offer assistance with shortlisting, venue allocation, document upload, access to screening venues, or final selection.
It also cautioned the general public to disregard fake recruitment messages, fraudulent links, and unauthorised persons purporting to represent the Board, noting that all official updates will be communicated solely through the CDCFIB recruitment portal and other approved official channels.
The statement added that the Board remains committed to conducting the exercise in a transparent, credible, and merit-based manner, in line with extant rules guiding recruitment processes.
