FUGUS VC commends Lawal over ongoing campus projects

The Vice Chancellor of the Federal University Gusau, Professor Tukur Adamu, has commended the Zamfara State Government for its sustained infrastructural interventions in the university.

Professor Adamu made the commendation when he led members of the university management on an inspection tour of ongoing construction projects on campus.

The projects inspected include the construction of a one-storey Staff Office Complex and a one-storey block comprising eight classrooms, both being executed by the Zamfara State Government.

Expressing satisfaction with the quality and standard of work at the project sites, the VC particularly lauded Governor Lawal for his unwavering commitment to the timely completion of the two strategic projects.

Professor Adamu noted that the projects, which are currently at the finishing stage, will significantly reduce the University’s infrastructural deficit, particularly in the areas of lecture spaces and office accommodation for Staff.

“We cannot thank the Zamfara State Government enough for these remarkable projects and several other interventions, some of which are in the pipeline. This demonstrates the high regard Governor Dauda Lawal has for education as a catalyst for societal development,” Professor Adamu stated.
