Daddy Freeze hails Pastor Bolaji Idowu for helping flood victims in Lagos

Media personality Ifedayo Olarinde, better known as Daddy Freeze, has hailed Pastor Bolaji Idowu after a video of the Christian cleric helping residents stranded by flooding in Lagos surfaced online.

The video clip, which has been trending on social media, showed Pastor Idowu stopping his car when he noticed people wading through floodwaters.

Daddy Freeze said the pastor did not just offer them a ride, he also changed his route to make sure they got to their destinations safely.

Speaking on why he has maintained a close relationship with Pastor Idowu despite calling out other pastors, Daddy Freeze said the action was pure humanity.

“People always ask me why Pastor Idowu is my guy and why I don’t drag him like others. We argue a lot, but this is what Christ would do. Even me, I dey learn. Baba parked his car to carry people wey dey inside flood,” he said in a video posted online.

He noted that the pastor’s move showed real Christian love and compassion, adding that kindness speaks louder than preaching.

According to him, stopping for stranded commuters and going out of your way to help them are things more people should emulate.

The pastor’s act of kindness captured on video has attracted positive reactions, with many Nigerians praising Pastor Idowu for his humility and concern for fellow human beings in the midst of the floods.
